PVAMU Eminence Scholarship

To be considered, students must:
• Be enrolled as a degree-seeking undergraduate student at Prairie View A&M University;
• Have completed a minimum of 30 earned credit hours;
• Have a minimum 3.50 cumulative PVAMU GPA;
• Be in good academic standing and meeting applicable Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements;
• Demonstrate satisfactory progression toward completion of an undergraduate degree;
• Be enrolled full-time during the applicable award period, except for students requiring fewer than 12 credit hours to complete their undergraduate degree.
Financial need will not be a condition of eligibility or selection. A FAFSA will not be required solely for consideration for the PVAMU Eminence Scholarship.

Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee receipt of the scholarship. If the number of eligible students exceeds available funding, selection will be based upon objective academic criteria. Priority may be determined by: 1. Cumulative PVAMU GPA; 2. Percentage of attempted credit hours successfully completed; 3. Earned credit hours and demonstrated progression toward degree; 4. Consistency of academic achievement at PVAMU; and 5. Proximity to undergraduate degree completion, when additional prioritization is necessary.
