Built Brick by Brik Legacy Scholarship Application

The Built Brick by Brik Legacy Scholarship offers financial support to Engineering majors pursing an undergraduate degree with proven commitment to leadership and community service in communities of color, especially the Caribbean, Africa, and the African Diaspora.

MULTIPLE AWARDS OF UP TO $2,500 for 2026-2027 academic year.

In its 2nd year, the Built Brick by Brik Legacy Scholarship, shall be open to all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship, disability, age, or veteran status, subject to the following criteria:
Engineering Major
HBCU student, enrolled at or admitted to an HBCU for the fall of 2026
U.S. citizens or International Student (with a Student Visa)
At least 2.7 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in good academic standing
Interest or Experience in the Caribbean/Africa/African Diaspora
Commitment to Leadership/Community Service activities
Note, preference will be given to Junior and Senior electrical engineering majors, applicants of Haitian/Caribbean descent, and those proving interest/experience/commitment to global leadership. ALL INTERESTED STUDENTS MEETING THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA SHOULD APPLY!

AWARD RECIPIENTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED DURING THE JULY 22nd VIRTUAL-A-THON
Funds Disbursed to Award Recipients beginning August 1st (Award Recipients to determine which semester to disburse funds, e.g., Fall 2026 or Spring 2027)
