Tradition of Excellence Scholarship
Perry Homes is pleased to announce the 10th annual Perry Homes Scholarship for employee family members!
Last year, 82 scholarships were awarded for a total amount of $202,500. Since the program began in 2017, 512 scholarships for a total of $1,093,500 have been awarded.
Requirements to Apply:
Applicant must be a dependent of a current, full-time Perry Homes employee.
Dependent is defined as the following:
Child up to the age of 26 (includes natural child, stepchild, adopted child, and grandchild as long as they are claimed as a tax dependent by the employee)
Previous 2025 scholarship recipients (both dependents and non-dependents) who still reside with a Perry Homes employee are eligible to apply again in 2026
The following individuals are not eligible to apply for or receive the scholarship:
Perry Homes employees and/or interns
Dependents of part-time employees
Non-dependents of Perry Homes employees such as spouses, siblings, cousins, nieces/nephews, parents, etc.
Children age 27 or older
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior, a previous high school graduate, or current college student
GPA requirements to apply:
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for graduating high school seniors or previous high school graduates
Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for current college students
Applicant must pursue an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or trade/certification program at an accredited college or university
Graduate degrees are not considered eligible
This scholarship is for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. Students graduating in Spring 2026 or earlier are not eligible to apply.

About the Scholarship Award:
Award Amounts
Multiple awards given annually
$2,500 scholarship for the academic year. Will be divided evenly between the fall and spring semesters, or applied to a single semester if only enrolled one term.
Funding may only be claimed during the 2026-27 academic year.
One-time award. Students may reapply annually for the following durations:
Bachelor’s Degree – Maximum 5 years of funding
Associate’s Degree / Trade / Certification – Maximum 3 years of funding
What can the scholarship be used for?
The scholarship will be mailed directly to the student’s college to be used towards tuition, required academic fees, and/or book expenses.
Scholarship funding cannot be distributed directly to the student. Funding cannot be used for room and board, rent, meal plans, parking passes, or other similar living expenses.
Are there any requirements I must meet if I’m selected as a scholarship recipient?
Recipient must enroll in at least 6 credit hours for both the fall and spring semesters (or be enrolled part-time according to your school if it is on a different system).
Recipients must submit college enrollment information online through GHCF Scholar the summer before the academic year begins. This information is required in order for the scholarship check to be mailed to the student’s college. Instructions will be included in the student’s award letter.
