2026-2027 TMCF | Jacobs HBCU Scholarship

Scholarship Overview:
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Jacobs are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Eight (8) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of $5,000 for the 2026-2027 academic year. The total eligible scholarship amount will be allocated in one installment during the fall 2026 semester (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility Requirements:
Be a full-time enrolled student as an undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior at any HBCU during the 2026-2027 academic year
Open to the following majors:
Architectural engineering, architecture, chemical engineering, civil engineering, construction engineering, construction management, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, environmental health and safety, environmental science, geology, geological engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, supply chain management, transportation engineering, and/or urban planning
Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
Must have the 2026-2027 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection
Must be able to demonstrate a financial need
