The Lem Garcia Law Scholarship

The Lem Garcia Law Scholarship proudly offers a $1,000 award to an aspiring attorney currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in law school for the 2026 academic year. This scholarship is designed to help ease the financial burden of law school, allowing driven and passionate individuals to focus on their pursuit of justice and their goal of making a meaningful impact in the legal profession.
To apply for the $1,000 Lem Garcia Law Scholarship, applicants must submit an essay of 800 words or less explaining:

Your motivation for pursuing a legal career, and
Your vision for using your law degree to advocate for justice.
Applicants are encouraged to share any personal experiences involving advocacy—whether for themselves or others—and explain how those experiences influenced their commitment to the legal profession.

Who Is Eligible for the 2026 Lem Garcia Law Scholarship?
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

Accepted into any law school in the United States for the 2025–2026 academic year, or
Currently attending any law school in the United States during the 2025–2026 academic year and continuing their studies into 2026–2027.

Judging Criteria
A panel of judges, including senior management from Lem Garcia Law, will review all submissions and select one recipient based on clarity, authenticity, and commitment to justice.

The winner will be announced on July 25, 2026.

The selected recipient must provide proof of law school enrollment prior to award disbursement.

Award Disbursement
After the application deadline, all submissions will be evaluated and the winning applicant will be notified directly. The $1,000 scholarship award will be mailed directly to the recipient’s law school financial aid office.

The announcement of the winner will be made on 7/25/26.
