ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Enrolled in a pre-law, paralegal, or J.D. program.
In good standing (3.0 GPA or higher).
Campus within 60 miles of Houston.
At least 18 years old when you submit.
Not an employee or immediate family of HKM Employment Attorneys LLP.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

2. Required documents
o Unofficial transcript (PDF)
o One-page résumé
o 500-word essay: “How I will use my legal education to serve my community.”
3. Submit by the deadline. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
Selection Process:
• A three-member panel from the Houston office reviews complete applications.
• Essays are scored for clarity, originality, and community impact.
• GPA and résumé show commitment and fit.
• Top score wins. Panel decisions are final.
Award Delivery:
• Funds delivered directly to the student for education-related expenses in 2026.
Privacy:
• Your information is used only for this scholarship.
• All files are deleted 12 months after selection.
