Murray Watson, Jr. Scholarship Program

SUMMARY:
The Murray Watson, Jr. Scholarship Program provides support to graduating high school seniors, current college students, or graduate students in Texas. Applicants who demonstrate academic strength and financial need are eligible to apply.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3.3 GPA
Resident of Texas
Graduating high school senior, undergraduate college, or graduate student
Seeking an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree from any college or university in the U.S.
Aged 17 or older
Participate in extracurricular activities, community service, or work
Demonstrate financial need
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Register – To apply, complete an application and submission packet, and submit your application and upload all required documents identified below.
• Interview – Depending on the applications received, we may invite selected finalists for a personal online interview to make final selections.
• Awards – Winning applicants will generally receive a notification within two to six weeks following the calendar month that their application is considered.
