Save a Student Scholarship

• Open to all undergraduate classifications
• This scholarship is need based; Applicant must have a FAFSA or TASFA on file and demonstrate a financial need
• Applicant must need the funds in order to remain in school and all other sources have been exhausted
• Applicant cannot have been the subject of any university discipline action
• Special consideration should be given to students who are productively active in University activities and/or display special talent in art, music, drama or communications to include forensics
• Applicant must have maintained at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) for two consecutive regular semesters in which a minimum of 24 semester hours were accumulated, with no F’s or WF’s.
• Student athletes and nursing majors may be considered if they have completed four regular semesters in which they have accumulated at least 48 semester hours with at least a 2.5 GPA.
• Applications must be submitted to the University scholarship committee and the money may used to help with tuition, fees, room, board and/or books.
• Scholarship funds are applicable only for the semester or session for which requested
• Scholarship is in the amount of $2,500 per calendar year
