Nursing Students Scholarship Program

To qualify for a scholarship, a student must:
✓ be a resident of Texas;
✓ be registered with Selective Service, or be exempt;
✓ show financial need;
✓ be enrolled in a course of study leading to an undergraduate or graduate degree in professional
nursing or one intending to prepare a student for licensure as a licensed vocational nurse;
✓ be enrolled at least half-time; and
✓ have made satisfactory academic progress (SAP) in accordance with their institution’s financial
aid academic progress requirements.
