Halliburton Business and Engineering Scholarship Fund
*Be enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student(s)
- Have a minimum of 60 credit hours upon the start of the upcoming fall semester, not to exceed 75 credit hours (i.e. hold classification as a sophomore
at the time of application yet junior at the start of the academic year) - Be considered accepted or on-track with college or discipline (College of Arts and Sciences, Business or Engineering)
- Hold a GPA of 2.75 or above
- have a minimum of one noteworthy achievement or recognition, such as holding a leadership role in student organization or extracurricular activity, publication on the Dean’s list, or working a part-time job.
- hold knowledge of and interest in Halliburton and the energy industry as demonstrated by participation in any informal sessions hosted by Halliburton
- be taking discipline-specific courses to be considered for this scholarship and have passed at minimum of one major-specific prerequisite course
- major in one of the following College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business or College of Engineering fields:
Arts and Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics
Business: Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems
Engineering: Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering (concentration in bio-engineering option), Computer Science (concentration in cybersecurity or data science option), Electrical & Computer Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering
