Leon Richardson Memorial Scholarship

• Open to all undergraduate classifications
• Open to any major
• Applicant must have major GPA of 2.5
• Applicant must have minor GPA of 2.5
• Applicant must be enrolled full-time
• Applicant must be a Texas resident
• Applicant must be involved in a extracurricular activity that is an University recognized organization
• Applicant must be the first child to attend college
• Applicant must demonstrate a financial need through the FAFSA
• Scholarship recipients must be Jack Yates High School graduates (Houston)
• Two students may be awarded per semester
• The total dollar amount that each student may receive per semester is $500
