Applicant must have not enrolled at PVAMU for 2 or more consecutive semesters
Applicant must be perusing first graduate degree
Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Applicant must have earned between 18-27 hours
Credits earned must be within the 6 year allowance for degree completion
Applicant must have attempted less than 52 hours
Applicant must meet Financial Aid eligibility requirements (SAP & PACE okay, not in default of a federal direct subsidized or unsubsidized loan, and FASFA on file with the financial aid office)
Award amounts: $2500 per semester (full-time/6-9), $1250 per semester (part-time/3-5)
Student is only eligible to receive the Reclamation Scholarship for up to 6 semesters. This is based on the number of hours the student has completed towards his/her degree.
Applicant must participate in 4 tutorial sessions sponsored by University Tutoring, SASC or college/department each semester.
Applicant must meet with the SACS director or assistant director each semester for academic monitoring and/or academic support services.
Applicant must provide SASC staff with a degree plan signed by department chair, head, or academic advisor before scholarship funds can be disbursed
Applicant must remain in good academic standing
Applicant must make satisfactory academic progress
Applicant must not violate any rules or regulations of the Student Conduct Code
Applicant must continue to meet Financial Aid eligibility requirements (SAP & PACE okay, not in default of a federal direct subsidized or unsubsidized loan, and FASFA on file with the financial aid office)
